Always on the look out..

I love to look at magazines and catalogs..  one of my favorites is Pottery Barn.. .  I also like to browse the Better Homes and Gardens DIY website Veranda, Country Living and Do it Yourself...   basically anything that involves painting and redoing..flea market stuff or repurposing.

 I keep a little journal of pictures cut out of magazines of projects, and pictures of pieces of furniture that I hope to find one day.. ...

Sooner or later I will be in the right thrift store at the right time and there they'll be..
Now what will I do with all this stuff once I find it... who knows, but it sure is fun looking.

Here's a farm table made into a kitchen island..  I see lots of tables at the Goodwill that would work for this .. problem is ..everybody I know already has an island. 

Church pew painted heirloom white.   ..  too cute..

Mirror headboard is from Better Homes and Gardens DIY.  I see these mirrors at the Goodwill all the time.

I think this will be my next project.  it looks pretty easy and so fun.

This is cute.. I'm not wild about the skirt at the bottom but I'm somehow attracted to the sea green color and the little paper doilies that make the scalloped edges on the shelves..  Do I know anyone that lives in a cottage by the sea.??   If I did I would definitely be making this one.  Oh and how fun to scour the thrift stores for decorative dishes to display..
